BREAKING : Cyclone Ockhi has hit our community very hard 80 fisherman did not return from the sea since yesterday, our children and staff are anxiously waiting for their return. 8 people lost their lives due to uprooted trees and collapsed houses. Hundreds lost their houses or boats. Many houses are terribly damaged. Last night all villagers from communities near the coast were evacuated to churches and schools. The whole area has been without electricity for 24 hours. Schools stay closed today. It keeps heavy raining relentlessly .... SISP is open for shelter and food today for our kids.

Our hearts are with all fishermen still out at sea and for the families who lost a loved one or lost their houses.
